Patent project: The method “keeps the stakes to protect the ridge” of replanting slope tea garden

This invention relates to the Area of tea garden planting technology, to be specific it is one kind of replanting method to renovate sloping tea garden.

With the popularization and promotion of clone tea improved varieties, the majority of our country old tea gardens need to be renovated; the large area of them must be replanted. At present, the people mainly follow the traditional method which exhausts the old tea trees and level up the soil to construct terraced field to renovate the old slope tea garden. This replanting method not only consumes very much time, manpower and physical resource, but also causes the new soil and water loss. Moreover, the new tea garden basically has not output in previous three years.

In view of slope tea garden, this invention proposed that take the terraced surface formed naturally by soil and water surface runoff as new planting terrace, mow the tea nearby the ridge of planting surface deeply, and plant new tea between the old tea planter lines at the same time. It not only can control soil and water loss effectively and enhance the output, but also can reduce the replanting disease of replanting tea garden. The results of the tea garden soil erosion quantity experiment showed that, under the same conditions, compared with the traditional replanting method, the soil erosion quantity of this technology can reduce 46.67% without any more investment. While using the old tea stakes to keep soil and water, the new tea trees can provide partial fresh leaves output to maintain the positive cycle of the new tea garden replacing the old one.
